fermented cantaloupe

so i got a cantaloupe a while ago and totally forgot about it.

it now has moldly spots that dented in, and when i cut it open i found out that the mold had eaten Into the cantaloupe and there was some gray fuzz next to the seeds. i cut off all the moldy rotten and super soft parts and started eating the nice looking parts. it made my tongue tingly and tasted super sweet. i thought it was funny and finished my piece. the person that lives with me was not amused and kept reading out loud about how cantaloupe was notorious for being a salmonella carrier. i don’t get sick from the fruit i eat so šŸ˜›
